HE'S STILL WORKING ON ME
By: Joel Hemphill
CHORUS:
He's still working on me to make me what I ought to be.It took Him just a week to make the moon and stars,The sun and the earth and Jupiter and Mars. How loving and patient He must be, He's still working on me.
1. There really ought to be a sign upon the heart,Don't judge her yet, there's an unfinished part. But I'll be perfect just according to His planFashioned by the Master's loving hands.
CHORUS:
2. In the mirror of His Word reflections that I seeMake me wonder why He never gave up on me.He loves me as I am and helps me when I prayRemember He's the Potter, I'm the clay.
CHORUS:
Here's the link to the site I found it on. You can even listen to the tune.
I know that I won't be "perfect" until my Savior takes me home, but I'm so glad that He hasn't given up on me and that He is so gracious.

Hey Edwena, I think I have this song in the book I have at church on the piano. The index is missing, but you're more than welcome to look through it. If I remember I'll check it Sunday. It's the book with the wire binding (not a 3 ring binder). Anyway, it was nice chatting tonight. Lord willing, I'll see you at the gym tomorrow.

Oh my! That song takes me straignt back to my childhood Sunday School days! I haven't heard it in years and had almost forgotten about it, but as soon as I read the first line it all came back to me. It was a favorite childhood song and so appropriate thirty years later! Thanks for reminding me of it.
I've enjoyed visiting your blog!
Blessings,
Shannon (FIAR boards)
